A private invitation

Experience it before we talk about it.

I'm joining the Men and Families community in Toronto this November. Before we meet, I'd like to invite you to experience MyWhatIf for yourself.

Complete at least one session before the conference, and you'll also receive priority early access to the new MyWhatIf platform when it launches in December.

What we're building at MyWhatIf

MyWhatIf is a nonprofit building a new model for trauma recovery around a simple idea: hope can be strengthened.

Our AI-powered platform helps people explore meaningful questions about their past and future through personalized narrative experiences designed to strengthen hope, agency, purpose, and the ability to imagine a different future.

We are developing and studying the approach with universities, hospitals, clinicians, and trauma researchers across North America and Israel. Our goal is to make high-quality support more personal, measurable, accessible, and scalable, especially for people and communities that existing systems struggle to reach.

Who's inviting you

Portrait of Omer Golan
Omer Golan
Founder & CEO · MyWhatIf Foundation

Omer Golan is the founder of the MyWhatIf Foundation, an entrepreneur, technologist, storyteller, and trauma survivor.

After living for years with the effects of severe trauma, Omer became interested in a question that now sits at the center of MyWhatIf: what happens when a person can no longer imagine that their future could be different, and can we help restore that ability?

He founded MyWhatIf to bring together AI, narrative, neuroscience, hope science, and human connection in a new approach to trauma recovery. In Toronto, he hopes to meet conference participants who have experienced MyWhatIf firsthand, hear what resonated and what did not, and explore how this work could support individuals, families, researchers, clinicians, and communities.

01 · Experience it
Try at least one MyWhatIf session before Toronto.

A session typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. Do it in a quiet moment that belongs to you.

02 · Come with something real
Arrive having experienced it, not just heard about it.

In Toronto, we can talk about what you experienced, what surprised you, and where you think this approach could go.

03 · Get early access
Priority access to the platform in December.

Complete at least one session before the conference and you'll be on the list when the new platform launches.

What MyWhatIf is

A structured way to imagine different futures.

MyWhatIf begins with a question you choose. You answer a short series of prompts, then ask one meaningful What If question about your past, your future, or somewhere you feel stuck. MyWhatIf creates personalised narrative possibilities designed to help you imagine different futures and strengthen hope, agency, and purpose.

You do not need to ask about trauma.
A future you are trying to imagine.
A decision in front of you.
A relationship.
A place you feel stuck.
Something you wish had unfolded differently.
Something you are curious about.
